This study gives an overview of the Academy of Theoretical and Practica1 Jurisprudence of Mexico since its fonding in 1811 until it closed its doors in 1876. It is based mainly on legal bodies which fonned the basis for their functions and regulate their important work in the training of lawyers during the Mexican state formation. He also realizes the existence of other Academies of Jurisprudence Theoretical Practice, based in cities across the country after independence.
