Of curricular innovation and the history of law

Abstract

The process of curricular innovation promoted in the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile during this year 2017, has meant an important challenge for the subject of History of Law and social sciences. This brief working document aims to respond to this challenge and demonstrate the need, and therefore the relevance, of historical-juridical studies in the 21st century.
